PEANUT-DETECTING LATERAL FLOW ASSAY

USC MEDESIGN, 2022

  • Developed two lateral flow assay models using SolidWorks
  • Used computational stress analysis to determine optimal pressure points
  • 3D printed assay in PLA and designed for injection molding

ARTICULATING WALL-E

USC: ITP 308, 2022

  • Fabricated and mated over 178 parts to create a mobile WALL-E in SolidWorks
  • Created functional gear mates to articulate tracks
  • Enables 5-DOF eye movement with the ability for WALL-E to fold up into a box!

COST-EFFICIENT HOLTER MONITOR

USC: SENIOR PROJECT, 2022

  • Developed arrhythmia detection algorithm via C++ to detect bradycardia and tachycardia through EKG data
  • Constructed wireless holter monitor system to continuously monitor cardiac activity over a 14 day period using Arduino
  • Optimized electrical circuit to reduce product cost to less than $120 per unit
  • Used SolidWorks to develop two forms of holter monitor casing, including silicon injection molds
